अनूपपुर कलेक्टर द्वारा एक ठेकेदार के रिश्तेदार का वाहन उपयोग किया जाना चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। कलेक्टर जिस वाहन का उपयोग कर रहे हैं उसका इंश्योरेंस भी समाप्त हो गया है। आचार संहिता प्रभारी होने के बावजूद भी मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट के प्रावधान का खुला उल्लंघन किया जा रहा है।

जानकारी के अनुसार अनूपपुर कलेक्टर आशीष वशिष्ठ द्वारा एमपी 18 सीए 9089 नंबर की चौपहिया गाड़ी का प्रयोग किया जा रहा है। जिसका रजिस्ट्रेशन विज्ञान सिंह परिहार के नाम दर्ज है। वाहन का रजिस्ट्रेशन निजी होकर व्यवसायिक उपयोग के लिए नहीं है। इस संबंध में जिला कलेक्टर तथा वर्तमान जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी आशीष वशिष्ठ का कहना है कि वाहन को किराए पर ठेके से लिया गया है। जिला कलेक्टर का व्यक्तिगत वाहन नहीं होता है। प्रक्रिया के तहत शासकीय उपयोग के लिए वाहन को ठेके पर किराएये से लिया जाता है। यह बात संज्ञान में आने के बात इस संबंध में जानकारी एकत्र कर आवश्यक कार्रवाई करेंगे।

नियम अनुसार निजी वाहन का उपयोग व्यवसायिक उपयोग के लिए नहीं किया जा सकता है। इसके अलावा वाहन का बीमा कराना भी आवश्यक है। दोनों मामले में मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट के तहत कार्रवाई का प्रावधान है। वाहन का उपयोग कलेक्टर द्वारा किया जा रहा था, इसलिए संबंधित अधिकारी कार्रवाई से जोखिम नहीं उठा रहे।
